Sažetak: Explosive forming is an unconventional technology that has found its application in various
branches of industry, and one of them is the free explosive forming of sphere. The paper reviews the
development of this technology and explains the approach and method of performing the experiment.
Deviations were measured on a 3D scanner before and after deformation. In this way, it was possible
to read the deviations corresponding to the deformations that occurred after forming with a shock
wave. Also, the deformations were measured on the top part of the sphere using measuring tapes
connected in a Wheatstone bridge. At the end of the paper, in the conclusion, recommendations for
future research are given.
